A smartwatch prototype LumiWatch made by Carnegie Mellon University can project an image on the arm of a user that can be swapped and tapped and turns a user’s arm into a touch screen. It has an image projection of 5 times of a smartwatch screen.
LumiWatch has 15-lumen projector powered by quad-core Snapdragon CPU with 768 MB of RAM and has 740mAH battery. It supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and running on Android 5.1. The watch will cost around $600 and will have a dimension similar to Apple watch series 3.
