In 2011 Apple sued the Samsung for copying the design of its iPhone in the Galaxy smartphone line. Apple and Samsung end their patent infringement battle for an undisclosed amount after seven years of legal fight. This settlement came a week after the US court ordered Samsung to pay $539m for patent infringement.
The first decision, in this case, was given by the US court in 2012 ordered Samsung to pay $1.05b to Apple but after so many years the amount is reduced to $28m. US court award Apple to $539m after met both of the companies.
Apple and Samsung are the leading companies in the smartphone market, fighting each-other to make a better product. Apple and Samsung still working together after such an intense battle over patent infringement. Samsung is making approx $110 for sale of each Apple iPhone X sale.
