How to turn off System Integrity Protection on your Macbook

SIP or System Integrity Protection   is a security feature of Apple’s macOS operating system which was first  introduced in OS X El Capitan. It has  a number of mechanisms that are enforced by the kernel.

SIP helps us to keep our Macbok safe. Normally most of the users won’t even notice this or care about this feature which is of extreme importance. If you absolutely need to turn off System Integrity Protection, you can follow our guide below and turn it off.

Steps to turn off System Integrity Protection(SIP)

  1. Click the Apple symbol on the top menu on the screen
  2. Click  on Restart…
  3. Hold down Command-R so that you boot your mac into Recovery Mode.
  4. Click  on Utilities.
  5. Select Terminal.
  6. Type “csrutil disable".
  7. Press  Enter on your keyboard.
  8. Click the Apple symbol in the Menu bar.
  9. Click Restart…
  10. Hence its done!

Once your work is done You can turn it off by following these below steps.
