It appears that Samsung accidentally posted the banner of its next smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch. It was seen on the company’s US retail website, and CNET’s Scott Stein was the first to report this. The model was a 42mm rose-gold version, and the watch inherits its looks from Gear S3 classic. It doesn’t come as a surprise. The interesting part is that it matches with the rumors last week that Samsung would be dropping its old numeric scheme for the new Galaxy Watch brand.

The listing did not make any mentions of pricing, or release date information, so we are not left with many details. But rumors had it that the latest Galaxy Watch will drop the Google Wear OS and use company’s very own Tizen software. Don’t forget the Bixby integration. As you might have predicted, as soon as CNET publicized the accidental leak, Samsung removed the listing from the official website.

But there is still a way to look at the product; Samsung still has not removed the listing from the “Related Products” section on the website. So head over to any Gear S2 listing, and you can find the new Galaxy Watch right beneath it. If you click on the listing will take you to a “Page Not Found” error, but you will still be able to inspect the rose gold version of the new product from the previous page.
