Motorola has brought a new phone in the market that is an iPhone X clone, but imitates the colour scheme of Huawei’s flagship P20 Pro. From clone we mean that the back side of the P30 looks completely like an iPhone X, but the dual iridescent twilight colour adds vibrancy to the phone. The best part: the Motorola logo at the back is used as the fingerprint sensor.
Huawei P20 Pro calls its colour as twilight, which is originally a shade of deep purple but turns blue depending upon the lighting conditions. The similar colour scheme is adapted by Motorola with the name of “Aurora”. With the looks of an iPhone X and the colour of Huawei, the phone definitely brings the best of both the worlds despite the fact that they are derivatives.
Even Google confused it for the iPhone.
The phone will be available in China before it hits the worldwide market. We suspect that the P30 is the same Motorola One Power as seen in the leaks, which will be confirmed once the phone is rebranded for global launch.
Coming to the features of the phone, it sports 6GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, and a 3,000mAh battery. The features are available in mid range devices.
At the heart of its software, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Lenovo ZUI 4.0 interface. With an aspect ratio of 19:9, the screen stretches to 6.2 inches, and humongous resolution of 2246 x 1080. The chin has the Motorola Logo and the bezel houses the 12 MP front camera. The rear camera has dual lens setup with 12 MP and 5 MP lenses.
The notch is similar to that of iPhone X, however the phone is a bit wider with an all glass body and facial recognition. Even in the advertisements, the phone showcases the rainbow like splashscreen. It will be out on 15 September, with price tag of $303 for 64GB model and $360 for 128 GB model. Three colours are available: Black, White, and new Aurora.
