The new Oppo Reno Ace goes above and beyond the Oppo Reno launched earlier in the year by jamming in some quite impressive specifications into a device that retails around USD $420.
According to various sources, three DRAM/storage configurations will be available: 8/128, 8/256, and 12/256, with that $420 price point likely being for the 8/128 version. The phone will come in ‘ Starry Blue’ or ‘Psychedelic Purple’ colors, and a special Gundam limited edition (30k units) will be available from November 11th at a slightly higher price (3599 RMB).

4000mAh battery with support for Oppo’s crazy 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging technology. Oppo claims it can charge a 4000mAh battery from 0 to 27% in just 5 minutes – enough to make 2 hours of calls. ANd its surprising awesome that the phone takes only 30 minutes to fully charge the device from the dead state.
The device also supports USB-PD and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge standards, so you are not entirely at the mercy of proprietary fast charging technology.
Pricing of Oppo Reno Ace
The Oppo Reno Ace will be available in Psychedelic Purple and Starry Blue. The device starts at 3,199 yuan (~$450) for the 8GB/128GB model, 3,399 yuan for the 8GB/256GB variant (~$478), and 3,799 yuan (~$534) for the 12GB/256GB option.
However, the company has also announced promotional pricing of 2,999 yuan (~$422) and 3,199 yuan (~$450) for the first two models respectively.

OPPO Reno Ace: Gundam Edition ( Special Coverage)
Oppo is also launching a special edition of Oppo Reno Ace in the form of the Reno Ace Gundam Edition to mark the 40th anniversary of the Gundam series, a popular Japanese science-fiction franchise. Only 30,000 units of the Gundam Edition will be produced, the company said.
