This year Samsung was planning to release its Galaxy Note9 2 months early in July of 2018 but some new reports suggest that Samsung could delay Galaxy Note9 launch by two weeks due to some last minute design changes.
According to some news that Vice-president of Samsung Lee Jan-Yong visited local stores and checked the mobile phones of other manufacturers. Later Lee said that other manufacturers offer better grip for phones. After this visit, Lee asked Samsung engineers to reduce display glass thickness of Galaxy Note9 by 0.5mm. This decision could delay the launch of Galaxy Note9. We can expect the official announcement of the phone in early weeks of August.
Galaxy Note9 will not be a major upgrade over the Galaxy Note8. Some of the biggest upgrades are a bigger display with a size of 6.38inch and new Samsung Exynos 9810 under the hood to power the device. We can expect a slight improvement in battery life due to power efficient processor. Samsung can increase battery size in Galaxy Note9 from its predecessor.
