NASA’s Hubble Space telescope has clicked some beautiful photos of nebulae, describing the beauty and intricacy of these interstellar clouds.
1. Butterfly Nebula The first Nebula, also referred to as NGC 6302, shows a striking bipolar structure resembling a butterfly with outstretched wings.
2. Crab Nebula This nebula photo, assembled from 24 exposures. This allows a brief, high quality view of the Crab Nebula. A spinning neutron star is its centre, depicting a brilliant display.
3. Eagle Nebula This Pillar structure showcases towering columns. Eagle Nebula’s structure is a 9.5 light year high column of gas and dust where new stars are born.
5. Horsehead Nebula This Hubble Image shows a dark cloud located within the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex, resembling a horse-head shape when designed against the bright backdrop of emitting gas.
7. V838 Monocerotis This Nebula image, forming a mysterious stellar outburst with Hubble clicking the light echo revealing the surrounding dust when the star's sudden brightening in early 2002.
9. Carina Nebula This Hubble showcasing a star forming regions, stellar winds and radiation. Located 7,500 light years away in Carina
10. NGC 2174 Hubble’s 25th anniversary photo is of NGC 2174, Monkey head Nebula. A young star and cosmic gas 64,00 light years away in orion.
