Apple is likely to introduce its next-generation wearable lineup, the Apple Watch Series 8, later this year.

According to the most recent speculations, the Apple Watch Series 8 will have a larger 1.99-inch display.

The Apple Watch Series 8 is scheduled to be released with a sensor that measures body temperature.

With this, the smartwatch is not expected to be able to provide an exact reading, but the wearable might alert the user if the temperature is greater than normal.

The Apple Watch SE 2, on the other hand, seems unlikely to have this feature.

Bloomberg's journalist stated in the newsletter that future hardware modifications will "most likely" be minimal.

As previously reported, the Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to use the same S6 chip as the Apple Watch Series 6.
