Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer" Teaser Release: Cillian Murphy in the Lead

The official first trailer for "Oppenheimer" has finally been released exclusively in movie theatres. The movie will be released in theatres on July 21, 2023.

"Oppenheimer" stars Cillian Murphy as the theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who was the director of the Manhattan Project.

At the start of the teaser, we show Emily Blunt says, "The world is changing, reforming." This is your moment.

Emily Blunt stars as physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer’s wife, Katherine. J. Robert Oppenheimer was also known as the "father of the atomic bomb."

Robert Downey Jr.'s character appears on screen as the title appears. As he refers to Oppenheimer, he says, "The man who moved the world.". 

In addition to Murphy, Blunt and Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, Alden Ehrenreich, David Krumholtz and Michael Angarano will also star.

This is Nolan's first film at Universal Pictures. Since 2002's "Insomnia," Nolan has partnered with Warner Bros. on every movie, including his billion-dollar Batman trilogy.
