The modification made to the Phone Hub is the first new feature of the Chrome OS 103 upgrade.

Photos you take with your Android phone will automatically appear in the Phone Hub's new "Recent photos" section in Chrome 103.

When you need to quickly take a picture to send with an email, this will make life simpler.

The second update allows you to securely connect your Chromebook without a password to any WiFi network you have saved on your smartphone.

To transfer files wirelessly between Chromebooks and Android phones, Nearby Share uses Bluetooth Low Energy, WebRTC, or peer-to-peer Wi-Fi.

Later this summer, Fast Pair will be available for Chromebooks.

The Chromebook can automatically look for compatible Bluetooth devices once the Bluetooth connection is activated.

Finally, the Google-announced Screencast video editing app for Chrome OS will start to roll out this week, according to Kuscher.
