Conor McGregor says, "I’ll be back." to MMA

Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion, is back in the spotlight following his tweet on retirement.

In an announcement that surprised few, McGregor said he wouldn't be in the mood to leave the MMA sport.

McGregor tweeted old photos of himself with the famous Hollywood actor Arnold Schwazenegger, wishing Arnold a happy birthday.

"For the sake of humankind I must return! Happy birthday my man, @Schwarzenegger Hope you and H are proud of my recovery / work and my latest move on the board.  Fun times ahead, bring it ," McGregor added 

After the fight with Dustin Poirier, McGregor hasn't fought since then. In any case, it seems likely that McGregor will return to the cage later in the year after a full recovery.

The last time McGregor appeared in the UFC was in 2018. He lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov by submission. 

There are far too many rumours floating around the internet about his return fight opponent and his health issues.
