‘Euphoria’ Star Hunter Schafer Joins ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’

“Euphoria” star Hunter Schafer has joined the cast of Lionsgate’s “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” for director Francis Lawrence and producers Nina Jacobson 

She will appear opposite Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler in the studio’s attempt to recapture that old Panem magic.

Schafer will play Tigris Snow, Coriolanus’s cousin and confidante, who advises him in everything – from his role as mentor to the core of his moral compass.

The prequel film in the franchise, which has grossed over $3 billion globally, is based on the best-selling novel by Suzanne Collin

The prequel will be directed by Francis Lawrence, who also helmed the franchise’s “Catching Fire, and others

Nina Jacobson and her producing partner Brad Simpson, who oversaw the other films in the series, return as producer

“The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” debuts in theaters worldwide on Nov. 17, 2023.
