The most costly show ever on Amazon seemed to have a bit of a shaky beginning.

The first two episodes were scheduled to be available on Amazon beginning at 9 p.m. ET, but there were several complaints on Twitter from viewers.

Another user sent a screenshot of the issue along with the message, "So ticked- ready to watch The Rings of Power @PrimeVideo and I have no play option for episode 1 on my phone or tv."

Although it's unclear how widespread the problem was, it seemed to be resolved within an hour.

The business reportedly spent an estimated $715 million on the eight-episode "The Rings of Power" season, making it the most costly show in history.

Preceding the events of "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit," "The Rings of Power" is a prequel series.

A second season of the show has already been ordered, and production is set to start in October.
