Godfather actor James Caan's death cause revealed

Popular hollywood actor James Caan, whose remarkable performances in The Godfather made him a screen icon, cause of death revealed by the Los Angeles County Coroner.   

Los Angeles County confirms the actor, 82, passed away earlier this month due to a heart attack and coronary artery disease.

It was announced on the actor's official Twitter account earlier in July that he had passed away by his family members.

"It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jimmy on the evening of July 6," tweeted from his official account.

In the wake of the tragic news, some Hollywood peers took to social media to mourn the loss of a film icon.

Caan's wonderful acting in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather, as the eldest son of Don Corleone, the hotheaded, violent, and vengeful Sonny Corleone, was considered one of the best. 

James Caan will always be remembered for his remarkable performances in The Godfather, Elf, and Misery that made him a screen icon.
