Apple has made the first public beta of iOS 16 available.
The new features in iOS 16 range from a customisable Lock Screen to the ability to edit or unsend iMessages.
There may be flaws that Apple did not find and fix in the public beta.
New lock screen with greater layout and customization possibilities, including dynamic wallpaper
Face ID will now operate in landscape mode, and the Fitness app will no longer require an Apple Watch.
For up to 15 minutes after sending an iMessage, Apple allows you to amend or unsend it.
The Fitness app is now available on the iPhone for all users, regardless of whether they own an Apple Watch.
An activity ring that estimates a person's calories burned and steps per day using the iPhone's motion sensors.
