Jennifer Coolidge Dances Through Play-Off Music in 'Once-in-a-Lifetime' Emmys Speech

The “White Lotus” star won for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie and graced the stage in a tight green gown.

“I just want to say I took a lavender bath today right before the show and it made me swell up inside my dress and I’m having a hard time speaking,” Coolidge shared to the crowd’s delight.

She pulled up a piece of paper and her team. As she went through list, the play-off music began. "Wait, hold on this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing, and I'm full," she said, asking for some extra time.

She continued to read her list & music changed, this time with "Hit the Road Jack" in background. Knowing her speech was over at that point, she started dancing, accepted her reward & walked offstage.

Viewers celebrated her reaction via Twitter, calling the "Legally Blonde" star a "national treasure" who should "rule the world."
