When Kate Middleton joined the other members of the Royal Family at the annual Remembrance Day Service at The Cenotaph last Sunday, eyes turned towards a certain pair of earrings she was sporting.
The princess was wearing a set of pearl and diamond drop earrings, which she is said to have received directly from late Queen Elizabeth II.
The choice is jewelry was designed to send Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex a painful message.
During the Queen's funeral both Markle and Middleton wore a similar set of earrings, but the sheer size of the latter's pearls drawfs anything in comparison.
While Kate's pair are honking great pieces that on anyone else you would assume are fakes they are so large, Meghan's pair, while elegant and a very thoughtful gift, are comparatively tiddly.
It is also believed that Markle has not worn any jewelry from the Royal Collection since her wedding.
