8 people died in the Kentucky flood

Governor said "Kentucky floods 52 weeks a year, but not like this, Not like this"

"I do believe it will end up being one of the most significant, deadly floods that we have had in Kentucky in at least a very long time," said Governor Beshear.

"There are going to be a lot of people out there that need our help. There are going to be a lot of people that are going to be displaced."

He also said "Last night, most likely, we lost people in the middle of the night - maybe even in their sleep,”

“Unfortunately, I expect double-digit deaths in this flooding."

The neighbouring States are supplying additional aircraft for rescue

Governor is concerned about the fact that the flood is not over yet. Thus he said,  "This isn't just a disaster. It is an ongoing natural disaster,"
