King Charles III Shared a Rare Childhood Picture with Queen Elizabeth

Almost a month ago On September 8, Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle.

After her death, her elder son, Prince Charles III (at 73), became the new King 

To thank the royal family supporters, King Charles III decided to give his thank you cards a very personal touch with a picture from his childhood.

The King posts a black-and-white photograph of a three-and-a-half-year-old him and her mother Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral Castle in Scotland in 1952. 

The King wrote, "It was so very kind of you to send me such a wonderfully generous message following the death of my beloved mother." 

Furthermore, he wrote, "Your most thoughtful words are enormously comforting, and I cannot tell you how deeply they are appreciated at this time of immense sorrow."
