At Windsor Castle, King Charles dismisses the late Queen's staff.
A source within Windsor Castle told the Mirror that staff are "extremely worried about their futures" amid the current cost of living crisis and poor state of the economy.
The source also added that "it's left a real sense of dread among staff."
Many of the staff members are already resigned to their jobs, which they have cherished for years.
According to the reports, 102 members of staff at the King's residence, Clarence House, were told they could be fired less than a week after Queen Elizabeth II died.
King Charles previously put 100 staff on redundancy notice at Clarence House, meaning the household would be "closed down."
