MÖTLEY CRÜE'S TOMMY LEE EXITS TOUR KICKOFF MID-SHOW DUE TO RIB INJURY

On June 16th, after two years of COVID postponements, Mötley Crüe took the stage at Atlanta's Truist Stadium to kick off their long-awaited comeback tour.

Mötley Crüe’s Stadium Tour with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett And The Blackhearts kicked off in Atlanta  

But Crüe drummer Tommy Lee had to be replaced midway through the set due to pain from breaking several ribs just days before. 

He was replaced by session drummer Tommy Clufetos.  

The band shortly thereafter released a statement from the drummer 

The group rocked through four further songs -- including classic hits “Shout at the Devil” ,“Wild Side.” and “Too Fast For Love” -- before Lee vacated his seat
