Oppo may not provide chargers with some of its smartphone

Following the lead of Apple, Samsung, Google, and Nokia, Chinese phone manufacturer Oppo is apparently going to cease supplying a power adaptor in the box for certain of its devices.

According to Android Police, Billy Zhang, Oppo's President of Overseas Sales and Services, revealed that the firm will no longer supply chargers with many models.

The statement was apparently made during the Oppo Reno 8 series' European launch event.

According to the report, Zhang stated, "We will remove the charger from the box for various items in the next year." 

The plan to remove charging adapters from the packaging of various items will be implemented in the next 12 months, according to the report.

However, he did not list the gadgets that will be subject to the new regulation, although he did hint that the change may be confined to specific locations.
