Trump says Mar-A-Lago home in Florida 'under siege' by FBI agent
Former President Trump on Monday said that his Mar-A-Lago home in Florida is "under siege" by a "large group" of FBI agents.
"A President of the US has never ever faced something like this. This surprise raid on my residence was useless and unfair after working with the relevant government authorities, "added Trump.
The militarisation of the justice system, prosecutorial misconduct, and an attack by radical left Democrats who strongly oppose my running for president in 2024—especially in light of recent polls.
As well as those who will stop at nothing to defeat Trump supporters in the upcoming midterm elections—are all to blame.
"Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before," Trump said, alleging the FBI agents.
He said, "What makes this differ from Watergate, where agents broke into the Dnc? Democrats got into the home of the 45th President of the United States here, in reverse.
Trump was not there when the raid was done. The discovery of boxes of papers containing sensitive material that was brought to Mar-a-Lago has been under investigation by the Justice Department.
