White Noise's world premiere took place on Wednesday during the Venice Film Festival.

As some of the first celebrities to arrive, Jodie Turner-Smith, 35, Julianne Moore, 61, and Greta Gerwig, 39, brought the glitz as they walked the red carpet.

The movie White Noise is an adaptation of Don DeLillo's best-selling 1985 book of the same name; it opens the event before moving on to the New York Film Festival in September.

Greta chose a traditional black maxi dress with exquisite batwing sleeves and a cleavage-baring neckline. She accessorised with a stunning turquoise pendant necklace.

Grace Elizabeth, a 25-year-old Victoria's Secret model, was ethereal in a white floor-length gown with Grecian influences. She styled her raven hair in a wet-look updo and added a bold silver necklace to the exquisite dress with cross-over layering.

Alessandra Ambrosio, Brazilian model, attracted attention by flashing her renowned pins through the sensual side splits of her stunning hot pink gown. A pink pair of barely there stilettos let her stand taller, and she accessorised with several dainty bracelets.

The Venice Film Festival, the oldest in the world, was established in 1932 to honour international cinema. The event won't end until a closing ceremony on September 10.
