The Xbox Transparency Report explains how Microsoft has moderated and kept players safe on the Xbox platform.

Between January 1st and June 30th, 2022, Microsoft conducted over 7 million "enforcement actions."

Microsoft's technology is working hard to detect and address negative content and behaviour before players become aware of it.

Microsoft suspended 4.5 million accounts, while 196,000 asked Microsoft to erase content posted by those accounts.

Repeated violations of Xbox policies result in longer suspensions, permanent account bans, or device bans.

According to the data, 199,000 proactive enforcement actions were taken against accounts for posting adult sexual content, and 87,000 for fraud.

Between January 1st and June 30th, the number of player reports (33.08 million) decreased by 36% compared to the same period in 2021.

The majority of the 33.08 million reports were about player behavior, which included cheating, unsportsmanlike behavior, and teamkilling.
