'Yellowstone' actress charged with felony fraud

Yellowstone" actor Q'Orianka Kilcher has been charged with fraudulently collecting roughly $97,000 in disability payments while working on the show.

Kilcher gathered the funds for several months while working on the set of "Yellowstone," according to the insurance agency.

Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, and Wes Bentley star in the Paramount Network series "Yellowstone."  It has four distinct seasons.

Kilcher allegedly injured her neck and right shoulder while working on "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" in October 2018, according to a statement from the insurance agency.

Her attorney, Michael Becker, stated that she was a passenger in a production vehicle when she was injured.

Third-party doctors confirmed her injury and eligibility for compensation.

A year later, she told a doctor processing her insurance claim that she had been offered job but was unable to accept it due to significant neck pain caused by her injuries.

Kilcher got a total of $96,838 in temporary disability compensation between 2019 and 2021.

"According to records, she returned to the doctor and began claiming disability benefits five days after last working on the show," according to the statement.

Kilcher’s court date is scheduled for Aug. 7.
