Two Showcases, One Morning

Sony runs two PlayStation shows back to back on September 3. Both are free, and the first one saves its biggest segment for the end.

September 3, 6am PT

The main State of Play starts Thursday, September 3 at 6:00am PT / 9:00am ET. That is a morning slot, not the usual late-afternoon one.

Find Your Time Zone

8:00am CT, 2:00pm BST, 3:00pm CEST, 6:30pm IST, 10:00pm JST. Sony listed only four zones in its post; those fill in the rest.

Two Shows, Back to Back

State of Play Japan is not a dubbed repeat. It airs immediately after the main show with reveals and gameplay of its own.

Where It Streams

Both broadcasts go out on PlayStation's official YouTube and Twitch channels. No account, no console and no PS Plus needed.

Watching on Your Phone

Open YouTube or Twitch, follow PlayStation's channel and switch notifications on, so the alert reaches you before the stream starts.

Getting It on the TV

The YouTube app ships on most smart TVs, Chromecast and Google TV. Or cast it from your phone and keep the phone free to use.

Turn the Subtitles On

The main show is English with Japanese subtitles. State of Play Japan runs in Japanese with English subtitles, so switch captions on for it.
