Taylor Swift pointed at her wedding ring at Arrowhead on Sunday night. The road to that one gesture began with a bracelet she never received.
Kelce scored his first touchdown of the 2026 season in the first quarter. From her suite, Swift raised her left hand and shouted, “That's my husband!”
The ring is new. Swift and Kelce married on July 3, 2026 at Madison Square Garden, and were pronounced husband and wife at 7:22 p.m. ET.
It started in July 2023. On his New Heights podcast, Kelce said he tried to pass Swift a friendship bracelet with his number at her Arrowhead show. It never reached her.
On September 24, 2023, Swift watched the Chiefs play the Bears from a suite at Arrowhead. It was the couple's first public appearance together.
Kelce proposed in early August 2025, in a garden in Lee's Summit, Missouri. His father later said it had happened about two weeks before the couple said anything.
The Instagram post landed August 26, 2025: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” The ring was a cushion-cut diamond on a gold band.
Sandler married them. The ceremony started around 5:30 p.m. ET in front of roughly 1,000 guests, a crowd that included Kelce's Chiefs teammates.
Jason Kelce was his younger brother's best man. Swift picked her own brother, Austin, and gave him the title of man of honor.
Swift's dress was Christian Dior, designed by Jonathan Anderson. Kelce's tuxedo was Dior too. Both wore custom Louboutins, with jewelry by Cartier.
It was one of Swift's first Chiefs games as Kelce's wife, and the NFL's clip of the ring point drew close to 200,000 views inside an hour.
