Xiaomi’s flagships do not perform very well outside the home market of China, but the company intends to change the image. Earlier, evidence was found that five of Xiaomi’s flagship devices will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, which will rule the market of Android smartphones in 2018. Out of these five smartphones, four are already out there: Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Xiaomi Mi 8, Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition, and Xiaomi Black Shark gaming phone. The next big phone to the game is Xiaomi Pocophone F1 that has recently received its Bluetooth SIG Certification.
The Pocophone F1 is a unique smartphone that sports a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with a liquid cooling system. This system allows extremely fast processing power at sustained peak performance. The rear camera is dual lens setup with 12MP and 5MP lens with 1.4µm large pixels and dual pixel autofocus on the main sensor. POCO F1 has a 20MP front camera which comes with the Super Pixel technology that combines the information of four pixels into a large pixel. As a result, the photos have lesser noise, capture more light and enhance photo quality, especially in low-light conditions. The front camera of PoccoF1 can be used for AI face unlock, which works like a charm in every lighting condition.
The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has interesting features that make it attractive. The phone is headed for the European and Indian markets. The phone is expected to come in a budget and with converted prices, it will be 420 pounds for the base model and 460 pounds for the 128 GB storage variant. More information about the final pricing, specifications, availability and the final name will be available when the device will be closer to launch.
