Evanna Lynch has wed her partner of almost five years. Here is who Denis Skinner is, how they met, and the road from a Harry Potter open call to a London town hall.
The couple married on 21 August 2026 at Islington Town Hall in London. Lynch, 35, described the day as sweet and simple rather than a celebrity spectacle.
The reception moved to Wilton's Music Hall, a Victorian venue in east London. The couple hired a swing band to get guests dancing, and their dog Malo came along.
Skinner is French and was working as a bartender in a London pub when the two met. He is not an actor, and the couple have kept their relationship largely private.
Skinner first asked in the middle of a big argument. He tried again properly in August 2023, around her 32nd birthday, with a private engagement surrounded by nature.
Lynch skipped the classic bridal dress, pairing a vintage skirt with a Moira Hughes corset. Skinner wore green corduroy tailoring from Suit Supply with Rothy's shoes.
Lynch had never acted professionally when she went to a London open call in January 2006. After a screen test with Daniel Radcliffe she was cast as Luna at just 14.
Luna arrived in Order of the Phoenix in 2007 and stayed to Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 2011. Producer David Heyman said others could play Luna, but Lynch simply was her.
In 2018 she joined Dancing with the Stars for season 27, partnered with professional dancer Keo Motsepe. The pair finished third, a long way from Hogwarts.
