1X opened public pre-orders with a refundable $200 deposit and first deliveries targeted at US homes. Its Hayward, California factory began full-scale production in April 2026 and 1X says the first customer NEOs arrive by the end of 2026, with other countries following in 2027. As of late July 2026 no verified customer delivery has been reported and 1X's own materials still describe first shipments in the future tense, so ordering now means a queue position rather than a shipment.
