Fisch Skycrest Update Adds a Floating Island and Seven Ancient Idols, and It Closes in Seven Days
Fisch's Skycrest update went live on Roblox at 12:00 PM ET on Saturday, 4:00 PM UTC, and the floating island it adds is only open until the same time on 12 September. That is a seven-day window on a free game that runs on Android, iOS, PC, Mac and Xbox, and roughly 139,000 people were in it within the hour of the island opening.

How to get to Skycrest in the Fisch Skycrest update
There is no portal and no level gate. You swim upward from Fischfest and the island loads above you. If you were already standing in Fischfest when the event flipped over, you can head straight up without rejoining.
Skycrest lands on the final day of Fischfest 2026, so the two events overlap for a stretch before the festival closes out. Anything tagged limited on the island disappears when the week ends.
Idol Favor, Charms and the Crest Amulet
Skycrest runs on its own progression track called Idol Favor, which sits next to your normal level and starts at zero. You raise it by completing trials at seven stone-carved Ancient Idols scattered across the island: Hayate, Ebisu, Fudo, Nagomi, Goriki, Shunsoku and Amanojaku.
Each trial pays out in Charms, and Charms are the actual reward here. They boost Luck, Control, Resilience, Max Weight, Lure Speed and Progress Speed. The new Crest Amulet is what holds them, with room for up to nine equipped at once as your Idol Favor climbs. Nine stacked Charms is a meaningful jump over anything a single accessory gave you before.
What Skycrest adds: rods, weapons and relics
The gear list is the reason most players will care about the week rather than the cosmetics. Reported contents include:
- Five new fishing rods, including an end-game rod the developers confirmed ahead of launch
- Harpoon Gun and Spear weapons for taking fish actively rather than waiting on a bite
- Crested Relic and Empyrean Relic
- Ten Sky Crystals to recover for the Keeper of the Sky questline
- The Abaia Hunt, a legendary encounter, and a Fire of Spirits sacrifice mechanic
- More than 20 side quests for the island's residents
Four named NPCs anchor the settlement. Elder Kaito runs a shop whose rare stock rotates weekly. Master Hiroto sets timed angling challenges that pay large amounts of Favor. Ryusei sits at the Sanctuary with limited content, and Fruit Lover Frank has a quest that is live for this week only, reportedly ending in a strong rod.
There is also a companion, the Idol Taiga, tamed using fireflies that roam the island after dark. It boosts Charm effects, auto-sacrifices low-rarity catches and spears fish on its own.
The new Skycrest code
One code shipped with the island: SkycrestIsInTheSky. Fisch codes are not case-sensitive but have to be spelled exactly, and event codes in this game historically stop working within weeks rather than months, so it is worth redeeming before the island closes. Redemption is buried in the settings menu rather than sitting on the main screen — open the Menu button at the top, scroll to the bottom, and type it into the Codes box. Our running list of working Fisch codes has the exact steps and the rest of the currently live codes.
If you play other Roblox games on the same account, the platform-wide Roblox promo codes for avatar items are separate from in-game codes like this one and redeem on the website instead. Blox Fruits and Grow a Garden run their own cycles too, and our Grow a Garden codes list is updated on the same schedule as the Fisch one.
Does Skycrest run on a phone?
Fisch is playable on Android and iOS, and Skycrest does not change the requirements — it is the same client with new geometry loaded in. Busy servers on a new island are harder on a phone than the base map, so expect frame drops on older hardware during the first days while everyone is crowded into the same space. If your phone struggles with Roblox generally, our guide to Android games that run on low-end phones and 2GB of RAM covers what actually holds up on that hardware, and our tested Roblox horror round-up is a lighter-weight alternative when servers are heaving.
Fisch has passed 4.85 billion visits and 3.6 million favourites since launching in March 2024, which is why a limited event on it moves numbers this fast. The island shuts at 12:00 PM ET on 12 September, and the permanent parts of the update stay behind after that.
Frequently Asked Questions
When does the Fisch Skycrest island close?
Skycrest closes at 12:00 PM ET on 12 September 2026, seven days after it opened. Anything marked limited-time on the island goes with it, including Fruit Lover Frank's week-only quest. The permanent parts of the update stay in the game afterwards.
How do you get to Skycrest in Fisch?
Swim straight upward from Fischfest and the floating island loads above you. There is no portal, no teleport item and no level requirement. If you are already in Fischfest when the event starts, you can head up without rejoining the server.
What is the Fisch Skycrest code?
The code that shipped with the update is SkycrestIsInTheSky. Open the Menu button at the top of the screen, scroll to the bottom of the settings list and type it into the Codes box. Fisch codes are not case-sensitive but must be spelled exactly, and event codes usually expire within weeks.
How many Charms can the Crest Amulet hold?
Up to nine at once, unlocked gradually as your Idol Favor level rises. Charms come from completing the trials at the seven Ancient Idols and boost Luck, Control, Resilience, Max Weight, Lure Speed and Progress Speed.
Can you play the Skycrest update on Android?
Yes. Fisch is free on Android and iOS as well as PC, Mac and Xbox, and Skycrest uses the same client with no extra requirements. Crowded servers on a brand-new island are heavier than the base map, so older phones may see frame drops during the first few days.
