What changed around the cameras
Apple's spec pages do not list a camera plateau measurement at all, which is why the difference is easy to miss. In published comments, Apple said the plateau on the iPhone 18 Pro models is "ever so slightly thicker." One widely shared figure puts it at 11.5mm against 11.4mm on the iPhone 17 Pro, a 0.1mm change. Other hands-on measurements describe the bump as roughly half a millimetre taller. - Press every corner. A frame that pops loose at the top edge is being pushed out by the plateau.
