Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Editions and Prices: Trilogy Bundle Is $84.99 for All Three Games

Square Enix has opened pre-orders for Final Fantasy VII Revelation across six editions, and the cheapest way into the series is not the game itself. The Final Fantasy VII Remake Series Trilogy Edition is listed at $84.99 and bundles Remake Intergrade, Rebirth and Revelation together, which is $15 less than the $99.99 Premium Edition of Revelation on its own.

Revelation closes the Remake trilogy on 8 April 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Every edition below shares that date, apart from the two digital tiers that include 24-hour early access.

Every Final Fantasy 7 Revelation edition and what it costs

The digital tiers are the ones most people will actually choose. They are listed on the PlayStation Store and the Square Enix Store at these prices:

• Trilogy Edition — $84.99. Remake Intergrade, Rebirth and Revelation, plus the pre-order bonus. The store listing states this price runs until 7 April 2027, after which standard pricing applies.
• Standard Edition — $69.99. The base game and the pre-order bonus.
• Premium Edition — $99.99. Adds the Story Expansion Pass and 24-hour early access.
• Premium Plus Edition — $109.99. Everything in Premium plus a purchase bonus, a digital art book and a digital mini-soundtrack.

The pre-order bonus on every tier is the Mecha-Chocobo and Moogle summon materia. The Story Expansion Pass covers two post-launch DLC episodes: one built around Sephiroth, the other around Vincent and the Turks. That confirmation matters on its own, because until this week Square Enix had said nothing about whether Revelation would get story DLC.

The physical editions: Deluxe at $99.99, Collector's at $350

On the physical side, the Deluxe Edition is $99.99 and comes with the game, a hardback art book, a mini-soundtrack CD, a steelbook case and a Magic: The Gathering promo card tied to Advent Children. It is the same package Remake and Rebirth shipped in.

The Collector's Edition is $350 through the Square Enix Store. It contains the physical Deluxe Edition, the digital Story Expansion Pass, and a statue set of Cloud, Zack and Sephiroth on separate bases that can be displayed as one scene or split up. Cloud stands roughly 6.7 inches, Zack 7.1 inches and Sephiroth 7.9 inches. Square Enix has said stock is limited, and regional storefronts differ — Australian pre-order listings, for example, carry the Deluxe and standard versions but not the Collector's Edition.

Japan gets a separate tier entirely. The Final Fantasy VII Remake Series Complete Edition is listed on the Japanese Square Enix e-STORE at 77,777 yen for PS5 and Switch 2. It carries all three games, the same statue set, steelbooks and acrylic display stands with dummy discs for each game, a numbered Revelation stand, and a Polygon Cloud keychain. It has not been announced for any territory outside Japan.

Which platform to buy it on

Price is identical across platforms, so the deciding factor is storage and format. The Switch 2 physical release is a Game-Key Card that pulls a 130GB download the first time you launch it, which is a real constraint on a console with 256GB of internal storage — we covered the Switch 2 file size and Game-Key Card details when the listing went up. Anyone buying that version should price in a microSD Express card too.

PS5 and Xbox Series X|S discs are not fully self-contained either. Square Enix's own listing states both require an internet connection to download additional game data before the game will run. Only the amount differs, and Square Enix has not published per-platform figures beyond the Switch 2 number.

Is the Trilogy Edition actually the better buy

If you have never played Remake or Rebirth, yes, clearly. $84.99 for three full games undercuts every route to owning them separately, and the two earlier entries have both been out long enough that buying them at full price makes no sense. The catch is that the Trilogy Edition does not include the Story Expansion Pass, so if you want the two DLC episodes you are looking at the Premium tier or a later separate purchase.

If you already own Remake Intergrade and Rebirth, the Trilogy Edition is dead weight and the $69.99 Standard is the entry point. Whether the $30 jump to Premium Plus is worth it depends entirely on how the expansion episodes are priced individually, and Square Enix has not said.

Square Enix has been aggressive on pricing across its slate this month. It also put out a free Final Fantasy Resonance demo with carry-over progress, and the publisher's TGS 2026 plans lean on playable builds rather than trailers. What is still unconfirmed

Square Enix has not given a release window or price for the two Story Expansion Pass episodes individually, has not confirmed whether the Collector's Edition or the Japanese Complete Edition will be restocked, and has not published download sizes for the PS5, Xbox or PC versions.
