First: which Geometry Dash do you need?
Many people searching for “games like Geometry Dash” just have not found the other official ones. RobTop Games has five on Android:
| Version | Price | Ads label | Rating | Installs | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Geometry Dash | $3.99 | No label | 4.75 (1.09M) | 10,000,000+ | The full game. The listing promises the level editor, online levels and no in-app purchases. |
| Lite | Free | Yes | 4.42 (7.78M) | 500,000,000+ | Free. The listing says the editor and the new levels are only in the full game. |
| Meltdown | Free | Yes | 4.64 (1.90M) | 100,000,000+ | Three levels, music by F-777. |
| World | Free | Yes | 4.48 (1.30M) | 100,000,000+ | Ten levels, daily quests, and online levels from other players. |
| SubZero | Free | Yes | 4.52 (968K) | 100,000,000+ | Three levels, music from MDK, Bossfight and Boom Kitty. |
- Start with Lite or Meltdown if you have never played. Both are free.
- Buy the full game ($3.99) if you want the level editor. The listing also promises lots of levels.
- Lite has 500M+ installs. The paid game has 10M+. Free wins by a lot.
- The full game has the highest score of the five: 4.75 from 1.09 million ratings.
Three kinds of “like Geometry Dash”
People who love Geometry Dash usually love one of three things. Pick yours and ignore the rest of the list.
- The jumping and the dying. One tap, one mistake, start over. Try The Impossible Game, Wall Kickers, Chameleon Run or Super Meat Boy Forever.
- The music. The level moves with the song. Try A Dance of Fire and Ice, Muse Dash, Dash till Puff 2 or Beat Stomper.
- Building and sharing levels. This is the hard one. Geometry Dash has a huge community of player-made levels, and no phone game we found matches it. The Impossible Game 2 is the only pick here whose listing promises a level editor. An unofficial lookalike, Wave Dash: Geometry Arrow, claims one too.

How we checked these games
- On 4 October 2026 we opened the live US Google Play page of every game here. We copied the price, the “Contains ads” label, the shop price range, the star score, the number of ratings and the last update date. Update dates can be one day off, depending on your time zone.
- We read each listing’s own text for features such as levels, editor and music. When we say what a game does, that is what its listing says. We played none of these games for this article.
- We read the pages that rank for this search, and checked Bing’s own results. Four of Bing’s top ten are browser-game sites and three are PC lists. None of the pages we read showed a price, an ads label or an update date for each game.
- For the iPhone and PC prices we used Apple’s and Steam’s public store data on the same day.
- The ads label is not perfect. Google only shows it when the developer says the app has ads. Of the 15 picks, 7 carry it. Smash Hit is a good example of why to read the listing too.
- Google Play also shows some paid games here, such as Chameleon Run, Cytus II and Super Meat Boy Forever, as free with a Play Pass subscription. Check your own Play page.

Want it easier than Geometry Dash?
No game on this page is truly easy. Here is what helps, going by the listings:
- Practice mode. Lite, Meltdown and SubZero list it. So does The Impossible Game, with checkpoints. Learn a level there before a full run.
- Try before you pay. Super Mario Run is free to try. A Dance of Fire and Ice says you can play a free online version on a desktop first.
- Lots of levels. Tap Tap Dash lists 1,000 of them.
Games like Geometry Dash and Muse Dash
Some people want the song more than the spikes. These are music first:
- A Dance of Fire and Ice and Muse Dash are on both phone and Steam.
- Cytus II is a music rhythm game from Rayark.
- Rhythm Doctor is a one-button rhythm game on Steam ($19.99 list).
- osu! is a free rhythm game for computers. See its own download page for the versions it offers.
For a longer list, see our best rhythm games for Android.
If you use an iPhone
All five Geometry Dash versions are on the App Store too. The paid game costs $3.99, and the free ones match the Android list. Four games that show up on many “like Geometry Dash” lists are iPhone-only as far as we can tell. We found no Google Play page for any of them:
- Super Hexagon by Distractionware. $2.99 on the App Store, 4.47 stars from 2,170 ratings.
- Thumper: Pocket Edition by Drool. $4.99, 4.61 stars from 664 ratings.
- Dancing Line and Rolling Sky are free on iPhone.
Games like Geometry Dash on PC and Steam
Searches like “games like Geometry Dash on Steam” and “for PC” are common. These are the closest we could verify on Steam:
| Game | Steam list price | Steam reviews | Why it fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Geometry Dash | $4.99 | 93% of about 648,000 | The original, on Windows and Mac. |
| Just Shapes & Beats | $19.99 | 98% of about 26,000 | Dodge shapes in time with the music. |
| BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner2 | $14.99 | 92% of about 3,100 | A rhythm auto-runner. |
| BIT.TRIP RUNNER | $9.99 | 86% of about 4,000 | The first game in the Runner series. |

| A Dance of Fire and Ice | $5.99 | 94% of about 84,000 | The same game as on Android. |
| Muse Dash | $2.99 | 91% of about 123,000 | The same game as on Android. |
- Prices are Steam’s list prices on 4 October 2026. Many of these were on sale that day, so check the store.
- Is Geometry Dash on Switch, PS5 or Xbox? We found no console version. Geometry Dash’s own store pages list phones and computers (Steam: Windows and Mac).
- Next update: RobTop’s Steam news on 15 September 2026 says update 2.209 is “coming very soon.” Google Play still shows version 2.2.144. See RobTop’s Steam news page.
Geometry Dash in a browser
- The official way: RobTop’s own site, GeometryDash.com, went live on 4 April 2026. You can play the first level, Stereo Madness, for free.
- Everything else is unofficial. Many sites host Geometry Dash-style games or copies. We did not test them, and only GeometryDash.com is RobTop’s.
- If you are on a school computer, check your school’s rules before you play.
Lookalikes: check the developer
Search Google Play for “geometry dash” and you will find games that borrow the name or the look. We did not test these. They are real listings, but they are not by RobTop:
| Listing | Developer on Play | Installs | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Final Dash 2.2 (New Dash Mode) | BOOT-DARK | 1,000,000+ | 3.79 (22K) |
| Wave Dash : Geometry Arrow | gamebiz | 1,000,000+ | 4.50 (7.7K) |
| Space Waves | CrazyGames | 5,000,000+ | 4.59 (42K) |
- The real games say RobTop Games as the developer. Our full-game package is
com.robtopx.geometryjump. - A title with “2.2” in it, like Final Dash 2.2, uses the version number of the real game. It is not an update from RobTop.
- Skip clones that promise a “level editor” but have only a few hundred ratings.
Not worth your time
- Mad Dex shows up on lists. It is a platformer, not a rhythm game, and it has 3.63 stars.
- Rhythm Dash (MayaGameStudio) sounds like a match, but its listing describes tapping, holding and sliding notes. That is a music-tapping game, not a jumper.
Bottom line
Install Geometry Dash Meltdown today. It costs nothing. If you like it, buy the full game for $3.99. If you liked the music more than the spikes, get A Dance of Fire and Ice. On a PC, start with Just Shapes & Beats or Runner2. Play any of them for three days before you pay for anything extra.
