Mobile Legends 10th Anniversary Gives Away a Free Layla Collector Skin and Two More

Moonton has named the three free skins in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s 10th anniversary line-up, and the top one is a Collector — Layla’s “Prismatic Rhythm”, arriving 9 October. The run starts on 9 September on Android and iOS, and the three skins unlock on three separate dates through separate events rather than dropping together.

What the Mobile Legends 10th anniversary gives away for free

Three skins, three heroes, three different ways to earn them. None of the three is a login freebie you collect in one tap, and each is tied to its own event track:

• Nana — “Stardust Dreamer” (Epic), 9 September. Handed out through the 10th Anniversary Battle Pass.
• Chou — “Starforge’s Glory” (Special), 18 September. Comes from the Anniversary Jigsaw Puzzle event.
• Layla — “Prismatic Rhythm” (Collector), 9 October. Earned by playing the anniversary mini-games and banking enough exchange items to trade for it.

The spacing matters if you plan to play around it. Nana and Chou both land inside September, roughly nine days apart, while Layla sits three weeks past Chou at the far end of the celebration. Moonton has said more anniversary content is still unannounced, so the calendar above is the confirmed part rather than the whole event.

Why a free Collector skin is the unusual part

MLBB stacks its cosmetics in tiers, and Collector sits at the top of the ones players can normally obtain. Special is the entry rung and Epic is the middle, both of which show up in passes and events routinely. Collector skins usually sit behind draw-style events, which is why a free one is the reward Moonton is leading with.

That is also the one with the least detail attached. The announcement says Layla’s skin is earned by collecting exchange items from event mini-games, but it does not publish how many items the trade costs, how many the mini-games hand out per day, or whether the mini-games run for the full window between 9 September and 9 October. Until Moonton posts those numbers, there is no way to say how much daily play the Collector skin actually asks for.

Which platforms get it, and what is still unconfirmed

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang runs on Android and iOS, and the anniversary is a client-side event on both. The dates above come from the anniversary announcement itself; Moonton has not broken out per-server unlock times, so players on different regional servers should expect the usual variation of a few hours rather than treat 9 September as a single global minute.

Two other things are worth separating from the confirmed list. Moonton has not stated whether Nana’s skin sits on the free track of the 10th Anniversary Battle Pass or behind its paid tier, which is the difference between a genuine giveaway and a purchase for that one reward. And the Jigsaw Puzzle event that carries Chou has no published completion requirement yet. Both are labelled free in the announcement, but the mechanics that decide how free are not out.
