The Nintendo eShop Blockbuster Sale expires at 11:59 p.m. PT on 9 September, which is 2:59 a.m. ET on 10 September. Nintendo's own store listings put the cut-off at 06:59:59 UTC on 10 September, and every discount below reverts to full price the moment it passes.
This is the US eShop, and it covers both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 software. The sale page carries more than 100 discounted listings, mixing full games, publisher bundles and DLC packs, with reductions running from 14% up to 90%.
What is worth buying before the Blockbuster Sale ends
The headline cut is Red Dead Redemption at $24.99, down from $49.99. Both the original Switch release and the separate Nintendo Switch 2 Edition listing are cut to the same $24.99, so the newer console build costs no extra. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is $19.79, cut from $59.99.

Below that there is a run of $1.99 indies: Broforce, Pikuniku, Exit the Gungeon and The Swords of Ditto: Mormo's Curse. Enter the Gungeon, GRIS and Loop Hero are each $2.99. Hotline Miami Collection, CARRION, Death's Door, My Friend Pedro and The Messenger are all $3.99 at 80% off, and Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is $4.99.
Capcom has priced seven individual Arcade Stadium releases — including Final Fight, Strider, Commando and two versions of Street Fighter II — at $0.99 each. The publisher's Onimusha 1+2 Pack is discounted too, which is timely given that Onimusha: Way of the Sword sold a million copies on day one last week.

Switch 2 entries include Persona 3 Reload at $35.99, Diablo II: Resurrected – Infernal Edition at $27.99, Castlevania Collections Bundle at $34.79, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. A handful of premium editions carry much smaller cuts. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection Premium Deluxe Edition is only 14% off at $85.99, and Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition is 20% off at $63.99. Those are recent releases, so the discount is shallow by design. Buying digital in bulk does eat storage fast — Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter alone is 33.2GB on Switch 2, and the console ships with 256GB.
Two dates worth pinning
