Pokemon GO Wild Area 2026 Global Ticket Is $11.99 for November 14 and 15
Niantic has priced the Pokemon GO Wild Area 2026 global ticket at US$11.99 and locked the event to Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November. Both days run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, on Android and iOS, anywhere the game is playable. The ticket is optional, and a sizeable chunk of the weekend is free.
The draw is two Dynamax legendaries, split across the two days. Dynamax Dialga appears in Max Battles on the Saturday and Dynamax Palkia on the Sunday, both for the first time. That split matters: a trainer who can only play one day of the weekend gets one of them, not both.
What the Pokemon GO Wild Area 2026 ticket includes
The $11.99 global ticket is sold through the Pokemon GO Web Store rather than inside the app, which is the same route Niantic has used for recent paid research. It adds:
- Special Research with branching Steel-type and Dragon-type paths
- Six free raid passes a day instead of three
- Raised shiny encounter rates
- 2× catch Candy and doubled Incense duration
- Six special trades a day
- Hourly Supply Balloons carrying GO Safari Balls
- Mighty Latias and Latios from Incense, plus Unown D, I, L and W
The Max Particle cap is the quieter upgrade. Ticket holders can collect 3,200 a day against 1,600 for everyone else, and Max Particles are what actually let you fight Dynamax Dialga and Palkia repeatedly rather than once.
What you get without buying anything
Free players are not locked out. GO Safari Balls drop from PokeStops and Gym photo discs on both days, up to three raid passes are handed out daily, GO Snapshot produces surprise encounters, Party Play stays active for eight hours, and mighty Pokemon turn up along Routes.
A Machamp wearing a modern jacket sits in three-star raids across both days knowing Karate Chop, and that one needs no ticket. Steel- and Dragon-type spawns rotate on an hourly schedule, so the wild pool changes through the day rather than staying fixed.
Sendai and Mexico City: the in-person events
Two real-world events run the weekend before, on 6, 7 and 8 November, each 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in local time. Sendai • Tohoku in Japan charges ¥4,000 for a one-day ticket including taxes and fees. Mexico City charges MXN$350 for one day plus applicable taxes and fees, with gameplay covering the metropolitan area.
Both are single-day tickets by default, with paid add-ons that extend play by an extra day. Neither is required to take part in the global weekend, which is a separate event with its own separate ticket.
What Niantic has not confirmed
In published reports, Hisuian Sliggoo and Hisuian Goodra are named as wild-encounter debuts for the event. Niantic's own event pages promise Pokemon "making their Pokemon GO debuts" without naming the species, so treat those two as unconfirmed until the full spawn list is published. The Sendai and Mexico City pages are vaguer still, listing new mighty Pokemon and shiny debuts with no names attached.
Niantic has also not published an exact ticket on-sale date for the global event, though the Web Store listing is already live. In-person tickets for Sendai have already had one ticketing update posted, so anyone planning to travel should expect the details there to keep moving.
