The base configuration ships with an Intel Core 3 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 256GB SSD. Samsung also offers a step-up build with a Core 5 chip, 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage for buyers who want more headroom.

The display is a 14.0-inch WUXGA LCD panel at 1920x1200, rated for 350 nits and built in a 16:10 aspect ratio that gives a little extra vertical space over the 16:9 panels common on cheaper Windows laptops. Samsung rates the 61.2Wh battery for up to 25 hours, charged through a 45W USB-C adapter.

Despite the lower price, Samsung kept its Galaxy AI tools on board, including AI Select for pulling content off the screen, AI Cut Out for isolating objects in images, and Note Assist for summarizing and organizing handwritten or typed notes. Owners of other Galaxy devices also get Quick Share, Storage Share, Multi Control and Second Screen, which let a phone or tablet share files, storage and even a display with the laptop.
