The S26 FE runs Samsung's own Exynos 2500 chip globally, rather than splitting Snapdragon and Exynos models by region as Samsung has done with some past phones. It pairs the chip with a 6.7-inch FHD+ display running at 120Hz and reaching up to 1,900 nits of brightness, and a 4,900mAh battery.
Charging tops out at 45W wired, which Samsung says gets the battery to 69 percent in 30 minutes, plus 15W wireless. The phone carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Cameras
The rear camera system pairs a 50MP main sensor (f/1.8, optical image stabilization) with a 12MP ultrawide (123-degree field of view, f/2.2) and an 8MP telephoto offering 3x optical and up to 30x digital zoom (f/2.4). The front camera is 12MP. Samsung's ProVisual Engine handles image processing, and the phone supports Circle to Search and QuickShare out of the box.
A feature called Horizon Lock keeps video level automatically during Super Steady recording, aimed at handheld footage shot while walking or in motion. Samsung is also carrying over FanCam, a group-photo tool from earlier Fan Edition models.
