Delta Force Ban Wave Hits 1,097 PC Accounts, and Cheat Compensation Now Covers 30-Day Bans

Delta Force's security team has published its weekly enforcement figures for 31 August to 6 September, and the PC column is the heavy one: 1,097 accounts handed 10-year bans, 11,565 devices blocked for a year, and 10,181 players kicked offline mid-match for cheating. Mobile took 322 ten-year bans over the same week, and console recorded eight. The notice landed a day before the Reorientation season update goes live on all three platforms.

Buried under the numbers is the part that actually changes something for ordinary players. Cheater kill compensation, which refunds the gear you lost to a confirmed cheater, previously only triggered when that cheater received a 10-year ban. It now applies to 30-day bans as well.

What the Delta Force ban wave numbers actually say

The developer breaks enforcement out by platform rather than lumping it together, which makes the PC-versus-mobile gap easy to read. On PC, the 1,097 ten-year bans include 110 actions tied to DMA hardware cheats, real-time interceptions and account freezes — the category aimed at the expensive, hard-to-detect cheat hardware that ordinary anti-cheat struggles to see.

Mobile draws fewer bans but more blocked attempts than PC — 12,782 against 1,827 — and 41 cheat tools versus 33. Read together, that suggests the mobile client is turning away a much larger volume of low-effort cheat software before it reaches a match, while PC enforcement is catching a smaller number of accounts that got further in.

The cheat compensation change is the part worth acting on

If a cheater killed you and took your gear in Operations, you can be refunded for it. The rule until now was narrow: compensation only went out when the cheater who killed you was hit with a 10-year ban. Players caught on a 30-day ban left their victims with nothing.

That has been widened. Victims of cheaters who receive 30-day bans are now eligible too. The trigger is the confirmation email — once you receive an email saying a 30-day or 10-year ban was successful, the compensation arrives via in-game mail within three business days. Check your in-game mailbox rather than waiting for a pop-up, because unclaimed mail expires.

One exception is written into the notice: if your squadmates extracted with the gear you had brought into the match and returned it to you, that kill is not compensated again. You already got the loadout back.

Scripting and account farming got the bigger crackdown

The cheat numbers are small next to the economic-security column. Over the same week the team addressed 147,717 instances of automated scripting — 116,764 account bans and 30,953 cases of confiscated gains. The behaviours named are bulk account registration, automated multi-client login, auto-farming run-throughs, auto-extraction and auto-selling supplies.

These are the accounts that flood an extraction shooter's marketplace with farmed materials and distort prices for everyone. It is a different problem from aim assistance, and the enforcement volume shows where the developer thinks the larger threat to the game's economy sits.
