Cheat Codes for GunBlood (2026): All Codes + How to Play It Now

Aditya Singh
GunBlood cheat codes, illustrated by a single action western revolver

There are only four real GunBlood cheat codes, plus thirteen level skips. The one to type first is NOHIT — it makes you invincible in the duels. After that: MOREAMMO for unlimited bullets, FASTFIRE for a quicker trigger, and POINTER for a laser sight.

The catch that trips up nearly everyone: you can only use one cheat at a time, and you type it in the cheat bar on the gunslinger selection screen, in capitals. Type it mid-duel and nothing happens.

  3. Click the bar so it has keyboard focus, then type the code in CAPITAL LETTERS
  4. Type it exactly. No spaces, no lowercase
  5. Start the duel

Why your GunBlood cheat is not working

  • Lowercase. The game is case sensitive. "nohit" does nothing.
  • Two codes at once. Only one sticks — the second overwrites the first.
  • Keyboard focus. If you clicked outside the game window, your keystrokes go to the browser. Click the game area first.
  • Typed during a duel. Codes are only accepted on the character select screen.

One more thing worth knowing: NOHIT does not protect you in the bonus rounds. Those stages can still end your run, which surprises a lot of people who assume invincibility means invincible everywhere.

What you are actually playing

GunBlood is a wild-west duelling game by Wolf Games, released in 2010. You pick one of ten gunslingers, then face the other nine one at a time. Between duels come four bonus rounds, where an assistant throws bottles, birds and knives for you to shoot.

That structure is why the level codes are laid out the way they are: LEVEL1 to LEVEL9 matches the nine opponents, BONUS1 to BONUS4 matches the four target rounds. Once you know that, the code list stops looking random.

How to play GunBlood in 2026 (Flash is dead)

GunBlood was built in Adobe Flash. Adobe ended Flash Player support on 31 December 2020 and browsers blocked the plugin in January 2021, so the version you played in a school computer lab genuinely does not run any more.

Here is what works now.

1. Ruffle (the best option)

Ruffle is a free, open-source Flash emulator written in Rust. It runs old SWF files without Adobe's plugin, which had a long history of security holes.

  • Browser extension: install it in Chrome or Firefox, and old Flash pages simply play again
  • Desktop app: download the standalone build and open a .swf file directly

2. The Internet Archive

The Internet Archive's Flash library preserves thousands of Flash games and plays them in the browser through Ruffle. GunBlood is among the titles archived there, which also makes it the most reliable way to get an unmodified copy rather than an ad-stuffed clone.

3. On Android

There is no official standalone Ruffle app for Android. The usual workaround is a Chromium-based mobile browser that supports desktop extensions, such as Kiwi Browser, with the Ruffle extension loaded into it.

Be honest with yourself, though: GunBlood is a mouse game. Precision aiming with a thumb is a genuine handicap, and the duels are decided by fractions of a second. If you want a big screen and a real mouse, our guide to the best Android emulators covers running mobile games on a PC.

How to win GunBlood without cheats

Cheats are fun for an afternoon. Beating level 9 straight is more fun. Three things decide every duel:

  • Park your cursor before the count ends. Do not wait for "DRAW" to start moving. Hover exactly where the opponent's chest will be, and click the instant the word appears.
  • Aim for the hand, not the head. A hand hit disarms your opponent and stops them shooting back. It is a bigger target than the head and it ends the fight just as fast.
  • Count your six. Without MOREAMMO you get six shots. Panic-clicking empties the cylinder, and the reload is what actually kills you.

The opponents speed up as you climb. Levels 1 to 3 are practice, 4 to 6 punish slow reactions, and 7 to 9 sit close to human reaction-time limits — which is exactly why the level skip codes exist.

How we checked these codes

Most GunBlood cheat pages list the same four codes and stop there, with no mention of the two things that actually decide whether they work: the codes are case sensitive, and only one can be active at a time. We compared the list across several independent cheat databases and kept only entries every source agreed on.

We also cut the "cheats" that keep appearing on scraped listicles without ever being credibly documented. If a code only shows up on sites copying each other, it is not on this page.

Bottom line

Four cheats and thirteen level codes, typed in capitals on the character select screen, one at a time. NOHIT for a stress-free run, POINTER if you actually want to improve your aim, LEVEL9 if you just want the final showdown.

Next step: install the Ruffle extension first — without it there is nothing to type codes into. Then try beating level 9 with no cheats on. For more code lists, see our GTA 5 cheat codes guide and the Sims 4 relationship cheat codes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the GunBlood cheat codes?

There are four: NOHIT for invincibility, MOREAMMO for unlimited ammo, FASTFIRE for a higher firing rate and POINTER for a laser sight. On top of those you get level skips, LEVEL1 through LEVEL9 for the nine duels and BONUS1 through BONUS4 for the bonus rounds.

Where do you type GunBlood cheat codes?

In the small cheat code bar along the bottom of the gunslinger selection screen. Click the bar first so the game has keyboard focus, then type the code in capital letters. Codes typed during a duel are ignored.

Why is my GunBlood cheat code not working?

Usually one of four things. You typed it in lowercase, and the codes are case sensitive. You tried two codes at once, and only one can be active. You did not click inside the game window first, so your keystrokes went to the browser. Or you typed it during a duel instead of on the character select screen.

Can you use more than one GunBlood cheat at a time?

No. GunBlood accepts a single active cheat, so entering a second code replaces the first. If you want both invincibility and unlimited ammo, you have to choose. Most players take NOHIT, since running out of ammo is far less punishing than getting shot.

Does NOHIT work in the bonus rounds?

No. Invincibility applies to the duels, but the four bonus rounds can still end your run. It catches many players out because they assume god mode covers the whole game. Treat the bonus stages as if no cheat is active.

How many levels does GunBlood have?

You pick one of ten gunslingers and duel the other nine, one at a time, with four bonus rounds in between where an assistant throws bottles, birds and knives for you to shoot. That is why the cheat list has LEVEL1 to LEVEL9 for the duels and BONUS1 to BONUS4 for the target rounds.

How do you play GunBlood now that Flash is dead?

Adobe ended Flash Player support on 31 December 2020 and browsers blocked it in January 2021, so the original plugin version no longer runs. Use Ruffle, a free open-source Flash emulator, either as a Chrome or Firefox extension or as a desktop app that opens SWF files directly. The Internet Archive also hosts a large Flash game library that plays in the browser through Ruffle.

Can you play GunBlood on Android?

Not easily. There is no official standalone Ruffle app for Android, so the usual workaround is a Chromium-based mobile browser that supports desktop extensions, such as Kiwi Browser, with the Ruffle extension installed. Even then, GunBlood is built around precise mouse aiming, so touch controls put you at a real disadvantage in the later duels.

What is the fastest way to beat GunBlood?

Type LEVEL9 on the character select screen to jump straight to the final duel. To win legitimately, park your cursor where the opponent's chest will appear before the countdown ends, aim for the hand to disarm them rather than going for a head shot, and count your six bullets so you are never caught reloading.
