Marvel Rivals Season 10 patch notes went live on 11 September after a maintenance window that opened at 09:00 UTC and ran for roughly two hours. The update lands on PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store and the NetEase launcher, and it carries a full Scarlet Witch rework plus a role-wide nerf that slows every Strategist ultimate in the game.

What the Marvel Rivals Season 10 patch notes do to Scarlet Witch

Wanda is the biggest single change in the build. She gains a new active called Scarlet Hex, a chaos-magic shockwave that covers a rectangle 20m long and 8m wide in front of her, deals 40 damage and applies a status called Chaos Mark.

The mark is the whole point. Hitting an enemy with Scarlet Hex or Dark Seal marks them, and every point of damage she then does to a marked target converts 25% of that damage into Bonus Health for her, capped at 50. Her primary fire also locks onto every marked enemy at once rather than a single target.

The rest of the kit moves to match. Chaos Control drops from 85 damage per second to 75, but now hits all Chaos-Marked enemies inside a 20m, 120-degree cone for the same amount. Chthonian Burst fires on a 0.4-second interval instead of 0.5, which raises its sustained output from 160 to 200 damage per second. Dark Seal now only stuns on the initial detonation, for 0.3 seconds. Reality Erasure, her ultimate, deals area damage during the wind-up instead of waiting for the payload.

Read together, she is a sustain duelist now. Landing the mark early and staying on the marked target is what keeps her alive.

Why every Strategist ultimate charges slower

The change most players will feel is not tied to a hero at all. Across the entire Strategist role, healing-to-energy conversion falls from 70% to 65%, and damage-to-energy conversion falls from 55% to 50%. Every support in the game builds its ultimate more slowly than it did yesterday, regardless of who you pick.

Individual supports were then adjusted on top of that. Jeff the Land Shark heals for 140 per second instead of 130, and his ultimate heals for 130 instead of 100. Loki's missile healing goes from 10 to 15 and his stealth healing from 20 to 30 per second. Cloak & Dagger go the other way, with the Vulnerable effect cut from 28% to 20% and area healing from 25 to 20. Mantis takes a four-second Life Orb charge instead of three.

Which Vanguards and Duelists changed

  • Magneto — health 650 to 600, shield 250 to 200.
  • The Thing — health 750 to 725, damage scaling 10% to 8%, charge cooldown 10s to 12s.
  • The Hood — health 600 to 550, projectile damage reduction 35% to 20%.
  • Captain America — health 300 to 350, with the shield bounce falloff removed.
  • Emma Frost — health 650 to 675, Telepathic Pulse range 18m to 20m.
  • Peni Parker — firing interval 0.3s to 0.25s, and the self-slow is gone.
  • Black Cat — Phantom Pursuit no longer grants invincibility; it now gives 50% damage reduction and Unstoppable.
  • Wolverine — claw damage 15 to 18 per hit.
  • Magik — Void Pentagram cooldown 15s to 20s, demon health 200 to 125.
  • Winter Soldier — charge time 5s to 6s, slow 35% to 25%.

Team-Ups moved too. Magneto's Scarlet Witch Team-Up cooldown climbs from 12 to 18 seconds, while Spider-Man's Amazing Combo drops from 2 seconds to 1. Gorr, the battle pass and what is not in this build

Gorr the God Butcher unlocked with the patch as the season's only new hero, a Duelist rather than the usual pair of additions. The season battle pass is called The Godbomb and carries 10 costume sets, among them White Fox as Cosmic Kumiho, Captain America as Astral Aegis and Loki as The Chronicler. A story event, The Tetrameron, runs alongside it.

God Quarry, the season's Domination map, is not in this patch — it is dated 24 September. The build also fixes reported issues affecting Cloak & Dagger, Devil Dinosaur, Rocket, Winter Soldier, Black Cat, Emma Frost, Peni Parker and Ultron, and optimises collision on K'un-Lun: Heart of Heaven.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time did Marvel Rivals Season 10 go live?

Maintenance began at 09:00 UTC on 11 September 2026 and was scheduled to last about two hours. The season and its patch went live for everyone once that window closed, on PS5, PS5 Pro, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

What changed for Scarlet Witch in Season 10?

She gained a new active ability, Scarlet Hex, which covers a 20m by 8m rectangle, deals 40 damage and applies Chaos Mark. Damaging a marked enemy converts 25% of that damage into Bonus Health for her, up to 50. Chaos Control fell from 85 to 75 damage per second but now hits every marked target in a cone, and Chthonian Burst rose from 160 to 200 damage per second.

Were Strategists nerfed in Marvel Rivals Season 10?

Yes, across the whole role. Healing-to-energy conversion dropped from 70% to 65% and damage-to-energy conversion from 55% to 50%, so every support builds its ultimate more slowly. Jeff the Land Shark and Loki were buffed individually, while Cloak & Dagger and Mantis were weakened.

Is the new Season 10 map available now?

No. God Quarry, the season's Domination map, is dated 24 September, two weeks after the season opened. This patch ships the new hero, the battle pass and the balance pass, but not the map.

Is Gorr the only new hero in Season 10?

Yes. Gorr the God Butcher arrived as a Duelist and is the season's single new character, a break from the two-hero cadence of earlier seasons. He unlocked when maintenance finished on 11 September.
