WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 5 Arrives September 9 With Four Superstars for $9.99

WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 5 goes live on 9 September, adding four playable Superstars for $9.99 on the premium track. Storefront listings now carry the date on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam, and the download itself is tiny at roughly 3MB because the content is already sitting in the base game.

The four Superstars are Danhausen, Brie Bella, Bam Bam Bigelow and the Mexican luchador Pagano. Buying the premium track unlocks all four immediately rather than making you grind for them.

What is in WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 5

Season 5 is themed around Danhausen, whose "very nice, very evil" gimmick gives the season its presentation. Alongside the four wrestlers, the season adds a separate persona for a Superstar already on the roster: Randy Orton '05, the Legend Killer version, which sits right at the end of the premium track on Tier 40.

There is also a new attire in the mix. Bianca Belair's WrestleMania 41 gear has been confirmed for the season, which matters if you build custom cards in MyFACTION or run her in The Island.

  • Playable Superstars: Danhausen, Brie Bella, Bam Bam Bigelow, Pagano
  • Persona: Randy Orton '05 (Legend Killer), unlocked at Tier 40
  • Attire: Bianca Belair, WrestleMania 41
  • Price: $9.99 for the premium track on its own
  • Release: 9 September 2026

Which platforms get Season 5

All of them, on the same day. WWE 2K26 runs on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through Steam, and the Season 5 listing has appeared on each storefront with the 9 September date attached. The Switch 2 eShop page puts the download at about 3.15MB, which is the usual size for an unlock key rather than a real content drop.

One requirement is easy to miss: the pass needs the base game, and progress is tracked online. If you are playing offline you will not earn Ringside XP, so the tiers stay frozen until you reconnect.

Free track versus premium track

Every WWE 2K26 player gets the free track, which spreads roughly 60 rewards across the same 40 tiers — Virtual Currency, MyFACTION packs, MyFACTION Points, Island banners, taunts and Create-a-Superstar parts. The playable Superstars and the Orton persona sit on the premium side.

The two tracks level together. Reaching Tier 12 hands you the free rewards for tiers 1 to 12, and if you buy the premium track later, everything you already passed unlocks at once. You earn RXP by playing matches in most modes, with wins paying more, and challenges topping it up.

Is the Season Pass worth it instead

WWE 2K26 ships six Ringside Pass seasons in total. Season 1 landed on 6 March, followed by 15 April, 3 June and 22 July, and Season 6 is due in October. Bought individually at $9.99 each, the six come to $59.94; the bundled Season Pass is $49.99, so the bundle only makes sense if you intend to take all six.

Owners of the Monday Night War Edition already have every season, including this one, and it will simply appear on 9 September. The Attitude Era Edition covers seasons 1 to 4, which means Season 5 is a separate purchase there. The King of Kings Edition includes only Season 1.

How it compares to the rest of this year's sports releases

2K's other big annual release is doing something structurally different — our breakdown of what NBA 2K27 changes in The City and MyCareer covers the co-op and playable-eras additions. If you are tracking what is actually selling on console this autumn, the PlayStation Store top downloads for August put two sports games in the US top five.

On the accessory side, Sony has its own dated drop coming: the GTA 6 limited edition DualSense controllers at $84.99 open for pre-order on 10 September, a day after Season 5. And if wrestling crossovers in games are your thing, the Clash of Clans WWE event and its five hero skins runs to 1 October on Android and iOS.

2K has not published a full tier-by-tier reward list for Season 5 yet, and beyond the four Superstars, the Orton persona and the Belair attire, the remaining unlocks are unconfirmed. Expect the in-game menu to fill in on the ninth.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 5 come out?

Season 5 releases on 9 September 2026. The date is listed on the PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam storefronts, and it goes live on all four platforms the same day. 2K has not given a specific unlock time.

Who are the new Superstars in WWE 2K26 Season 5?

Four wrestlers join the roster: Danhausen, Brie Bella, Bam Bam Bigelow and Pagano. Buying the premium track unlocks all four right away instead of gating them behind tier progress. The season is themed around Danhausen.

How much does WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 5 cost?

The premium track is $9.99 on its own. It is also included in the $49.99 Season Pass, which covers all six seasons, and in the Monday Night War Edition. The Attitude Era Edition only covers seasons 1 to 4, so Season 5 must be bought separately there.

How do you unlock Randy Orton '05 in WWE 2K26?

Randy Orton '05, the Legend Killer version, is a Tier 40 reward on the Ringside Pass Premium Season 5 track. You reach it by earning Ringside XP from matches and challenges, so it is the last thing most players will unlock in the season.

How big is the WWE 2K26 Season 5 download?

About 3.15MB on Nintendo Switch 2, and similarly small elsewhere. The Superstars and cosmetics already ship inside the base game files, so the purchase is effectively an unlock key rather than a content download. You do need the base game installed.
