This is the part that has changed, and most guides have not caught up. JoiPlay is no longer distributed on the Google Play Store — the app's Play listing now returns a 404. You get it directly from the developer instead.

2. Download the JoiPlay APK from the official site, joiplay.net. Do not grab it from a random APK mirror.
