TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 Release Date Is September 15, and the Price Goes Up
The TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 release date is September 15, developer OPNeon Games said in an announcement posted to the game's Steam page today. That ends a two-year Early Access run for the shop management sim, and it lands exactly two years to the day after the game first went on sale.
The version 1.0 build is the one that finally makes the fictional Tetramon card game playable rather than just sellable. Until now you stocked booster packs, priced singles and ripped packs for your own collection; after 1.0 you can build a deck out of what you have pulled and actually play matches, with a tournament mode that lets you run events for the customers walking through your door.

What the September 15 release date covers
The developer's own post names the date and nothing else — no platform list, no time, no pricing detail. On PC, the 1.0 build replaces the Early Access version of the game you already own; there is no separate purchase.
Xbox players are already in a slightly different position. The game arrived on Xbox Series X and Series S in February as a Game Preview title and went straight into Game Pass, where it sits on the Ultimate, PC and Premium tiers, playable on console, PC, handheld and cloud. Game Preview is Xbox's equivalent of Early Access, so 1.0 is the point at which that label would normally come off, though the studio has not spelled that out.
PS5, Switch and Switch 2 are coming, but not officially dated
OPNeon confirmed back in June, through a press release tied to the Southeast Asian Games Showcase, that PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions are in full production, with Switch 2 also named. No release date came with that confirmation, and today's announcement did not add one.
Published reports today have put the console versions on the same September 15 date. Treat that as unconfirmed: the developer's own announcement does not say it, and neither the PlayStation Store nor Nintendo's listings carry a dated pre-order page for the game. If you are on PS5 or Switch, the honest answer right now is that a version is confirmed to exist and its timing is not.
The price is going up at launch
This is the part worth acting on. TCG Card Shop Simulator currently costs $19.99 on Steam, and the studio has said twice — in June, around two separate sales — that the price rises when the game leaves Early Access to reflect the added content. It has not said what the new figure is.
Buying during Early Access carries your purchase into 1.0 at no extra cost, which is the usual Steam arrangement. That gives PC buyers a month-long window at the current price. Prices outside the US vary by storefront and region, so check your own store page rather than converting from dollars.

Why a shop sim from one developer got this big
The game is the work of a solo Malaysian developer, Ding Shen Sia, working under the OPNeon Games name. It entered Early Access in September 2024, sat at 97% Overwhelmingly Positive across more than 33,000 Steam reviews through that run, and has passed 3.5 million sales across PC and Xbox.
The loop explains a lot of that. You order stock, set your own margins, decide whether a pack is worth more sealed on the shelf or opened for the card inside, and expand the store as the money comes in. Adding a real card game underneath the shop turns the inventory you have been hoarding into something you can use, which is the piece the Early Access version was always missing.
If you play on console
Xbox owners get the update on a service they may already pay for, which makes this a cheaper month than most — worth checking against what Game Pass is losing this month before you plan around it. PS5 and Switch players are waiting on a date, and in the meantime a controller you already own covers most of what else is out: our list of Android games with full gamepad support is built around exactly that.
If you are picking the game up on PC before the price moves and would rather do it without your friends list watching, here is how to appear offline on Steam. And for a recent example of an indie launching across every platform at once with its pricing stated up front, Duskfade's release details make a useful comparison.
