The money trap nobody warns you about
Here's a simple trick: look at the highest price in a game's in-app purchase list. It tells you who the game is really built for.
- Star Trek Fleet Command sells a single item for $699.99. That's why it isn't on our list, even though many other sites rank it high.
- Warframe goes up to $199.99, but you can trade with other players, so you never have to pay.
- Mindustry lists nothing at all. The whole game is free.
