Android Hire Verdict — The Pixel most people should buy
If you want a 2026 Pixel in the US and photography is why you are here, start at $899, not $1,099. Pixel 11 is the first base model with a real 5x telephoto, Tensor G6, Qi2.2, and seven years of Android. You give up the Pro's 50MP sensors, 3600-nit panel, Wi-Fi 7, and UWB. That is a fair trade for $200. Step up to Pro only if you already know you want the brighter Super Actua screen.

Pixel 11 vs Pixel 11 Pro: the $200 question
Cameras are the split. Pixel 11 uses a 48MP main, 13MP ultrawide, and 10.8MP 5x telephoto. Pixel 11 Pro uses a 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP 5x periscope, plus a 42MP ultrawide selfie against this phone's 10.5MP. If you zoom a lot or shoot in mixed indoor light, the Pro sensors are the reason to spend $1,099.
The screen is the other split. This is a 6.3-inch 1080 × 2424 Actua OLED at 3000 nits. The Pro is the same size with a 1280 × 2856 Super Actua panel at 3600 nits. Wi-Fi 7, UWB, and Thread stay on the Pro. Battery actually favors the base model slightly: 4,985mAh and 15:40h tested versus the Pro's 4,850mAh and 15:39h.
